| This thesis consists of two parts, Case Description and Case Analysis.The Case Description introduces the whole course of Propack's decision of using ERP system to improve its enterprise management, how it chooses a proper system and a qualified software provider to ensure the success of system implementation, how it confirms and thus control its core processes, and at last, how it firm teams to accomplish all those tasks.The Case Analysis is started by pointing out that the first and most important problem of implementing an ERP system is to make clear the purpose and requirement of the enterprise, which can be made exactly only after careful research into the enterprise's resources, tasks, business processes and problems.Secondly, it analyzes the differences between several famous local and foreign ERP systems. Suggestions on how to see through some dangerous tricks of some suppliers are made in this part according to operation management theories.Thirdly, the Case Analysis looks through the ways for an enterprise to well interact and cooperate with its ERP supplier.Finally, the Case Analysis presents an ERP solution for Propack and investigates ways to implement ERP systems in printing and package industry.
