The Research About Freight Forwarding

The Freight Forwarding has existed for centuries in foreign countries. But in China, it has not been developed healthily and rapidly until the application of Reform and Opening Policy in recent 20 years.There are six chapters in this thesis. Agency, Transportation Agency and Freight forwarding, are briefly discussed in the second chapter. Also in this chapter, the position, utilities and characters of freight forwarding in the transportation system are studied thoroughly.In the third chapter, the current condition and problems of Chinese freight forwarding are analyzed. On this foundation, the countermeasures are provided to develop the freight forwarding in China.In the forth chapter, the jural themes related to freight forwarding are probed. These include the rights and obligations of the applicants and agencies, the concrete responsibilities and compensation responsibilities of freight forwarders, etc. In the fifth chapter, the business management, finance management and market management problems of freight forwarding enterprises are explored.The sixth chapter is the emphases of this thesis. Though the Railway Freight Forwarding has not been fully developed in China, it has a broad foreground. The value of the development of China railway freight forwarding is pointed out first. And then, the progress procedure and status of China railway freight forwarding are analyzed. The investigation of the division of railway freight forwarding are analyzed. The investigation of the division of railway freight forwarding market is done. How the railway holders take part in the construction and development of the railway freight forwarding market is an important problem, which is also studied in this chapter. Finally, the overall strategy of the development of China railway freight forwarding is proffered.
