On The Growth Of Hi-tech Small And Mid-sized Firms Under The Network Economy

After defining the Network Economy and its main character, this article defines high-tech small and mid-sized firms with the review of the domestic and abroad study. After that, this article reviews the theory of the enterprises growth and gives the definition of the growth of high-tech small and mid-sized firms, and points out how Network Economy influences the growth of high-tech small and medium sized firms from the industrial and enterprises views. Then the article draws a conclusion of the definition of the growth of high-tech small and medium sized firms and analyzes the essence of the growth and illustrates three patterns of growth: pattern of self-growth, pattern of transformation and government-dominant pattern respectively. Then the article analyzes the condition and the problems existed of national high-tech small and medium sized enterprises and the patterns of growth of high-tech small and medium sized firms. After that the article establishes the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model to recognize the growth of high-tech small and medium sized firms. Then the article analyzes the factors that limit the growth of national high-tech small and medium sized firms and offers the methods to overcome them.
