Implementation Of Supply Chain Management Based On Internet

SCM (Supply Chain Management) is one of welcome and most efficient management technologies. Searches and management practice on SCM will be the trend. For the finished highly internal supply chain integration, enterprises hope to integrate outside supply chain to enhance supply chain responsiveness and efficiency and realize the whole value chain optimization in the end. So how to implement SCM is the hot problem need to solve.To successfully implement SCM is one large and complex project for any enterprises, which require establishing one implementing structure and regarding many decisive factors. Based on my understanding on SCM, this paper tries to develop proposal how to implement SCM from two angles that are core business process optimization on supply chain and information system implementation based on Internet. Core business process reengineering goes from the initial supply chain strategy, supply chain network structuring and BPR (Business Process Reengineering). Internet and information system enabled SCM focus on two problems: electronic supply chain connectivity and information center establishment of enterprise. What's more the paper analyses the functions of two leading solutions in the world to show how far the management system technologies enabled SCM have gone and where they are going.Accordingly the paper is divided into six chapters including review, brief introduction of supply chain and supply chain management, Business processes optimization on supply chain, information system structure based on Internet, leading SCM solutions' analysis and conclusion.
