The reasons that the thesis researches the processes and the organization of supply chain enterprises are two aspects. First, supply chain management is a direction of enterprises. Supply chain management has been succeeded in the enterprises of development countries. With the development of supply chain management, enterprises feel increasingly that it should be thought as strategic problem. Enterprises would be hand in hand if they should want to have advantage. Second, the management of enterprises proved that the traditional management, functional structure, hadn't been fit in with the changeable demand of the present market and it should be reengineered. However, the thesis will research not one of them but both of them. From a new point of view, the author will think the reengineering problem in supply chain. So the topic has been established.At first, the thesis introduces simply the concepts of supply chain. Then, it assays the traditional processes and organization of enterprises, evaluates them in accordance with market and summarizes that the traditional method is unsuitable for market. BPR that it is a new theory of breaking down traditional pattern is introduced after that. BPR was proposed by Doctor Hammer of America in 1990's. It means that the processes and organization of limiting the efficiency of enterprises should be updated and reengineered with the help of information technology to make enterprises get rid of be hulking and rigidity in order to response the market quickly.It is core of the thesis after the above-mentioned contents which discusses the process reengineering and organization designing. The front part expounds the changes between and in enterprise made by supply chain management in accordance with theories and cases and gives new a method that process may be analysed from the aspects of logistics, fund and information. Then, the thesis analyses retailers that are the core part of supply chain now and summarizes three reengineering principles of them. First is that logistics should be base. Second is that fund should managed intensely. Third is that information network should be set up to insure logistics and fund. After all, the pattern of strongly functional procurement and convenient sale of retailer process is built. On the base of them, the next part discusses the organization after BPR and summarizes that organizationwill become controlled by process. The organization will have flat layers and collaborativeteams. Assaying supply chain more deeply, the author found that the reengineering of organization should be started not from the internal of enterprises but from the whole supply chain. From the history of enterprises development point of view, the reform was started from the internal. However, supply chain emphasizes the teamwork between enterprises, so the author thinks that enterprises should thought the supply chain firstly and the single enterprise secondly. It would make reform be previous and more complete. When discussing the whole supply chain, the thesis recognizes it as a virtual enterprise. The whole supply chain would be reformed to suit for process. After all, the organization pattern has been given in the thesis and assayed using the cases of retailers.
