Supply chain management create in 1980's, It is focused by more and more because it give us wide room in inventory impact, cost deduction, improving customer service and so on. Then it grow quickly. Supply chain focus on improving all operational performance. Successful supply chain management integrate purchasing material, designing product, production plan, material handling, order management, inventory management, transaction, warehouse and customer service into a seamless process, enhance response speed and customer service level largely. After our country entry WTO, we have to face global economy, and take part in competition in global market. And the competition are converting from single company to whole supply chain. So we must review the relation with outside and know the station and function.Currently, there are three level of supply chain management in China. Some foreign enterprises ( Sole investment and Joint venture) are the first level, their supply chain are managed by some expert from MNC, and they lead the enterprise to a higher level by using their advanced management strategy. The second level include some joint venture and some state-owned enterprise, most of the supply chain manager in these company have work experience in foreign country or foreign company in China. The advanced management thought that they learned from the company that they ever worked was performed in these enterprise. But there are still some problem about supply chain management. The third level include most state-owned enterprise and private enterprise. Most of them voice they want enhance supply chain management, but because there are no excellent manager and those enterprise was limited by system and consciousness. They don't want to share authority with their management team. They can't improve the management in these company, the competition was weakened gradually.
