Survey Of Value Of Science--Value Neutrality Of Science And Value Loaded Of Science

Science is regarded as special object. It has value to the human, and propels construction of physical civilization and spiritual civilization. However, Development of science not only appears to economic value and academic value ,but also takes place deeply effect to almost all field in society and varies the world that the human depend on. In the middle of twenty century, the human are facing to environment pollution, ecology unbalance, agene technology and cloning man in the front of victory .Such has some different opinion about the value of science, even opposite mind and society movement. It is imperative to survey overall the problem of value of science so that science will keep up the healthy development.The thesis is to survey value of science from the standpoint of history at most in order to make use and develop science. The thesis will be made up of three aspects. The first is to consider the origin of the value neutrality of science, then pointing out a reasonable remark about the value neutrality of science. The second is to analyze the value loaded of science from three aspects about essence of science ,that is , science is regarded as an system of knowledge, an activity and a social constitution. Because science is regarded as a piece of knife with two blades, abuse of science will be able to bring the negative role. The third is to evaluate the modern science from ethic standpoint. Including three aspects: as follows, Firstly, vocational ethics of science and ethical principles of science. Secondly ,ethical reflection of the value loaded of science. Thirdly ,social responsibility of scientist.
