| The wholesale enterprise is the weakest segment of the merchandise circulation in our country. There are many problems in wholesale enterprise such as operation shrink, benefit decrease and function backward. So it can not fit the modern economic condition, and must be changed. But there is very little research on the wholesale in the theory field of our country. So nowadays doing some exploration on wholesale enterprise' s operation innovation has theoretical and practical purports.The purpose of this thesis is to find the development direction of wholesale enterprise' s operation innovation by supply chain management. First, analyzing the relationship between wholesale enterprise and supply chain from the theoretical view, it includes the economic meaning, the function and the status model of wholesale enterprise in supply chain. At the same time, introducing some supply chain management methods and theories, which have some enlightens for the wholesale enterprise' s operation innovation. Second, research the successful experiences of foreign wholesale enterprise making use of SCM to innovate. Lastly, talk about our wholesale enterprise how to innovate by SCM on the basis of the former theory and practice. And advise three orientations: the general agent or distributor of manufacturers, the service provider of retail supporting and the resources manager in supply chain. Further put some measures to realize operation innovation.
