Disintegration of social structure is the main driving force of social development and it also is one of the social conditions of political development. China's transformation has changed the distribution of social resource and the interest pattern. In addition, propelled the disintegration of social structure. How to deal the relation between social structure disintegration and political stability is a challenge problem to all countries in transition.In addition to the preface, the thesis is composed of four parts. In the first section, the author investigate the interaction between disintegration social structure and political stability in the course of modernization .The author think that social structure disintegration and political stability are two important content of social development and political development. If the political system arranged proper institution, the interaction will goes well. In the second part, the author investigate the two transformations of social stratification and political stability model of China after 1949. The former model was political status and centralization political stability, and it replaced by economic status and transitional political stability. In the third section, the author believe that China will set up modern social structure and civil society, Which will propel the democratic stability to realize. Finally, the author points out that the essence of the two transformation of social structure and political stability model in China is the adjusting of the relationship between state and civil society. So during the course of reform, we must adjust the political control system according to the reclaim of modern social structure and market system.The characteristics of this paper lie in two sides. Firstly, the thesis analyzes the interaction between social structure disintegration and political stability from the view of modernization. Then, it investigates two models transformation of social stratification and political stability in China after 1949. Secondly, the paper points out that powerful country and powerful society is optimum model to China.
