It has already been a year since our nation became a formal WTO member on December 11,2001.As we all know, agriculture is the basic of national economy and agricultural economy will directly affect the safety and stability of our nation. As an important agricultural province, Hebei will suffer great impact after its WTO entry because of poor agricultural basis and self-accumulative ability as well as the lack of resources and momentum. According to Hebei agricultural circumstance, the paper presents some safe measures under WTO to further promote our provincial agricultural economy through the research and analysis of our produce market. The author applies many research methods during penning it. when analyzing agricultural market, agricultural policies, and agricultural trade, the paper exercise contrast analysis method, according to WTO agreement, to refer operational agricultural protection measures. At the same time, on the basis of qualitative analysis, the paper constructs mathematical models on how the open trade affects farm produce and establishes agricultural industrial structure and agricultural product's varietal structure. Through the analysis of computer software ,it determines the aims and measures of Hebei agricultural economy. In the end ,the paper discovers that the impact which the Hebei agriculture suffered from the WTO entry is limited. Thus, we should fully take the advantage of the opportunities from China's WTO entry to make Hebei's agricultural economy join the international agricultural market as soon as possible.
