Under the direction of land use structure optimization, a case study had been carried out in the hilly countryside in Sichuan. Based on the gathering materials -. data procession and analyzing, the paper first use regression analysis model to analyze the relationship between economic benefit and land use structure, ecological benefit and land use structure. Then , the paper based on the results, use mathematical of multi-objective programming to determine the land use structure in the hilly countryside of Sichuan. Lastly, the paper analyzed the laws of land use structure optimization in the different relevance of economic county.Following that , it shows: (1) the latest relevance of relationship between economic benefit and land use structure is urban land ,what's more, it come to diminish by the economic. And yet, the relevance of relationship between ecologic benefit and urban land is indistinct.(2)The relevance of relationship between economic benefit and agricultural land was distinct, what's more, it come to increase by the economic. The relationship between soil erosion -the index of ecologic benefit and agricultural land was determined positive correlation.(3) The relevance of relationship between economic benefit and the forestland was determined indistinct. It was even negative correlation in superior land. From regression analysis, it was greatly negative correlation between the forestland and soil erosion.(4)The optimized land use structure by the mathematical was: in the superiorest land, farmland was about 46-55%; urban land was about 15-20%; forestland was 7-14%.3 in the superiorer land, farmland was about 45-50%; urban land was about 10%; forestland was 22-28%; 3 in the lacking land, farmland was about 31-38%; urban land was about 9--13%; forestland was 28-41%.(5)Under the optimized land use structure by the mathematical, in the superiorest land, the economic benefit increased 27%, the soil erosion decreased 4.5%; in the superiorer land, the economic benefit increased 30%, the soil erosion decreased 4.5%; hi the lacking land, the economic benefit increased 50%, the soil erosion decreased 2%.
