| â–¡â–¡With the development of auto industry in new China, a new course - road transport management has appeared and it is becoming more and more important in the state construction. It has become an important part of our state's communications and transportation and a trade to the nation's economy and the people's livelihood. After China started to put into effect the policies of reform and opening to the outside world, a new pattern of road transport of multiform, multilevel and multi channel have emerged. The road transport monopolized by the government has entered the market and the multi pattern competition and it will face the international market competition after China's entry into the WTO. What will happen to the present situation of our road transport and its developing tendency during the multi pattern competition? How to manage it scientifically? In this paper, the author analyzes objectively the road transport's present situation, development tendency, chance and challenge it will face, probes into its management and countermeasure.The paper contains three parts.I. This part discusses the development and the general situation of China's road transport. It includes two points. A) Discusses the general situation of the road transport under the planned economy in brief. B) Gives a minute discussion on the development and the present situation of the road transport under the market economy. Here are two points. B) Sets forth the external assurance of China's road transport after China's entry into the WTO. C) Raises a few points that foreign businessmen have a good prospect of China's road transport market. D) Elaborates the purpose and development direction that the foreign businessmen enters our road transport market. E) Analyzes the attack and challenge against our road transport that will come with China's entry into WTO. F) States clearly the chance for our road transport after China's entry into the WTO.This part stresses the importance of the development tendency and countermeasure of our road transport after China's entry into the WTO.
