The Influence On The Agreements Of The Technical Barriers To Trade In China And Our Countermeasures

Since the recent decades, the global integration of economy presents the trend of keeping increasing. As a response to cut down more tariff, the international community having made a long-term efforts to create a widely freedom of international trade. On the other hand, the technical barriers to trade has inspired a seemingly endless stream of new products including technical regulation, technical standard, certification system and commodity inspection. Having played an important role in international trade, WTO finally passed two agreements on technical trade related to TBT and SPS. In fact, when we trace back the past of developed countries, they have successfully protected themselves with lots of technical barriers.After we enter the gate of WTO, technical barriers have become the main driving force for our enterprises in terms of scrambling for the international market and directly embody its international competitiveness.Under the circumstance this paper investigates in details into legal issues concerning WTO/TBT and WTO/SPS) given rise to in the past few years. At the same time, there is a preliminary discussion about what is the different influence on technical barriers between developed and developing countries. Finally, some suggestions are brought forward benefit to the legislators and policy-makers. Significantly, it emphasis on the remedies for the defect of legislation and the regulations.
