| It must be that to speed up taking execution of management for engineering risk in power construction. The research purpose of the paper is to propose for policy preparation for the engineering risk management rules of the power construction to management departments, and to help the owner of the power engineering and contractors to build the risk management mechanism, and to take countermeasures for the management of engineering risk. The paper has seriously analyzed the current situations of the economic system and project management of power construction engineering in China, the disparity of engineering risk management of power construction and causes influencing on execution of engineering risk management. The paper also has summed up the types of the engineering risk in power construction and risk events. Referring to the experiences of international engineering risk management, the paper has put forward the contents systematically for perfection of engineering risk management system in power construction of China, pointed out the countermeasures to enhance the engineering risk management for all bearing, divided the responsibility scope of engineering insurance for the owners and contractors. Especially it has put forward the ideas about that the owner will be responsible for buildings and structures, installation of permanent equipment between interfaces of all contractors and design engineering insurance. The paper has offered the suggestions and options for development of engineering risk management of power construction in all aspects from the viewpoint of management system, countermeasures and policy assistance. The previous mentioned measures will have active consulting value meaning for the administration departments of power construction, owners and contractors of the engineering projects to enhance the engineering risk management in all aspects.
