Optimization Of Supply Chain Inventory Management In Dongfeng-Citroen Automobile Co.Ltd

The management of supply chain could support mass customization production in automobile industry. This article combines the theory of Management of Supply Chain with the specific feature and conditions in DCAC,points out the defect in inventory management of Supply Chain,and mainly studies the causes of inventory management problem in final products,i.e. the poor ability of marketing forecast and poor responses to customer because of long lead time. In order to clear up these causes,I proposes Vendor centrally Managed Inventory mode and design operational steps to implement this mode,including business structure reorganizing and functional department integrating;constituting strategic partnership with core vendor;information system's building;combining of the Third Part Logistic and self-support logistic;distribution network redesigning. Finally,this article establishes a mathematic optimal model to find out the number and locations of Inventory Transferring Centers.This essay may providing a reference project for inventory management of Supply Chain for DCAC,and also can be a reference for other enterprise in automobile industry in inventory management of Supply Chain.
