| From the point of view of the Modern Management Science, the comprehensive competition of the enterprise is the key factor in its development and existence. With the globalization of economy and finance, the steps of China's economy's melting into the world's is speeding up obviously, especially after china's entry into WTO. Therefore, it's quite critical and essential to enhance the comprehensive power of our state-owned commercial banks. Facing up to high level competition form foreign-invested banks, this thesis starts from the opportunities and challenges of WTO. Having an analysis on the advantages and disadvantages of the state-owned commercial banks, the author has rendered some competitive strategies, which the state-owned commercial banks should implement. Last but by no means least, from the point of macro-policy, our government should provide better outside environment for our state-owned commercial banks.This thesis is composed of five chapters.Chapter 1 analyses the opportunities and challenges of the state-owned commercial banks after China's entry into WTO. First of all. The current development situation of the foreign-invested banks is introduced, then, the possible business characteristic of the foreign-invested banks to china after her entry into WTO is analyzed according to China bank's opening-up situation and China's commitment to WTO. On the basis of such analyses, the opportunities and challenges of China's state-owned commercial banks is further discussed after China's entry into WTO. Last, the current problem of China's financial business is briefly discussed.Chapter 2 analyses the advantages and disadvantages of state-owned commercialbanks after China's entry into WTO. By the understanding the advantages and disadvantages to china's state-owned commercial banks, the discussion is focused on the competitive capability. A prediction is given to the competitive strategy of the foreign-invested banks to China.Chapter 3 analyses the competitive strategy of the state-owned commercial banks and further discusses the policies which the state-owned commercial banks should adopt facing up to these challenges mentioned above, and which are introduced by the re-building policy of bank, human-resources competition policy, combined-marketing policy and bank alliance policy, respectively.In chapter 4, a valuable outside environment for the state-owned commercial banks is suggested. In order to face the challenges of the foreign invested banks a urgent proper reform for the state-owned commercial banks is required. This chapter proposes competitive policies for the state owned commercial banks from the point of macro-view, which includes speeding the reform of stock rights system, establishing a fair-play law environment, enhancing the administration to the market entry of foreign-invested banks.The conclusion is drawn in chapter 5, which is a summary to the whole dissertation and a prediction and hope to the state owned commercial banks in the future. |
