The Study Of Strategic Trend And Solution For The Development Of Processing Trade Of Mianyang

Pacing with the faster globalization, international resources allocation and expansion of international production, the processing trade is becoming an important pattern in current international trade. After nearly two decades development, the processing trade in China has taken half part of importation and exportation trade, and is becoming the main content of international economic exchange and cooperation. It has more and more important impacts on foreign exchange income, utilization of overseas investment, providing more jobs and economic increment.For our city, Mianyang, is located in inner region of western China, and the processing trade is started later than coastal region.Compared with coastal area, we still have long way to go. We should take the opportunity of WTO entry of China and the western China development policy and the area structure transforming of the processing trade, to reallocate the advantageous resources. Based on systematic analysis and research, the thesis specifies the processing trade general lines and other policy, which is utilized to promote the processing trade development in healthy, fast and stable way.The thesis explains the concept of the processing trade and its types and characteristics. The history of the domestic and international processing trade and its position in macroeconomic view is also discussed in it. Then, an emphasized part is to analyze the processing trade in Mianyang City by SWOT method. Finally, according toMianyang City's inner and external environmental condition, the author demonstrates his the strategic consideration in developing local processing trade and transforming the comparative advantages into competitive advantages and getting access to the aim of stride-forward increment of outwards economy of Mianyang City.
