Comprehensive Analysis Of Dongying Port's Expansion

The city of Dongying is located at the entrance of the Huanghe River to the BOHAI Sea. Dongying has an area of 7,923 square kilometers, with Shengli Oil field situated in the right place. There are a number ports surrounding Dongying Port, such as Qingdao Port, yantai port, Tianjin Port, Dalian Port, Longkou Port, and Huanghua Port etc. But the superior port recourses have not been fully developed, and the current port scope is comparably small, which does not play an important role in the development of the economy of Dongying.On the one hand, Dongying Port is required to match with the construction of Qingdao i.e. the Northern Shipping Center and Tianjin Port as well as the rapid development of the foreign trades of the region surrounding Bohai Bay. On the other hand, the port industry is in great need to enhance the development of Dongying City, Shengli Oil field and the Yellow River Delta.This thesis mainly focuses on the study of the expansion of Dongying Port and its development.This thesis is composed of six parts:The preface deals with the necessity to expand Dongying Port, and the writer forecasts the scale of the expansion and its throughput.Chapter One is an introduction to the current situation of Dongying Port. The writer has conducted an analysis of the physiognomy, climate, expansion condition of Dongying Port.Chapter Two first analyses the relationship between Dongying Port and the city of Dongying, then sets forth the status, function and role of Dongying Port.Chapter Three conducts an analysis of the development of Dongying Port, and makes a prediction about the ship style and the future cargos.Chapter Four discusses the expansion layout of Dongying Port And Chapter Five deals with an analysis of the investment to Dongying Port.
