Research On The Contrast And Reform Of Price Control Of Traditional Natural Monopoly Industry In China

Recent years, the research on the regulatory reform of traditional natural monopoly industry has become the hotspot in the field of theory. Price control has been the core of reformation, and researching on the price control of traditional natural monopoly industry is full of academic value, so this thesis focuses on the price control. Firstly, the thesis gives a review of the related theories about price control, defines the concepts of natural monopoly and price control, and confirms the goals and methods of price controlling. And then, analyzes the present situation and problems in traditional natural monopoly industry of China, finds out the reasons and successful experiences of regulation reform in the west developed countries, indicates the direction of price regulation reform for China. At the last part of this thesis, basing on the problems and difficulties at present, brings forward several suggestions such as quickening legislation, dividing the industry, reforming of the property right, together with redesigning new price control system to realize independent control.
