This thesis is a case study of business strategic management. It is composed of two sections, the first being the description of the case and the second the case analysis.The case description section introduces the problems that Alfa Laval Group is facing. This section narrates in detail the background and history, organization, financial management and marketing of the group in order to provide a whole map of Alfa Laval Group's situation to readers.The second section analyses the current circumstance, strategy choice, competition Advantage and the matching between strategy and situation by quantitative and qualitative analysis. The goal is to find out the new strategy that is suitable to the group development, create a new suitable culture to support the new strategy and implement the new strategy successfully.The key point of this thesis is to understand how to analyze and estimate systematically the whole company strategy and rebuild the new strategy to develop continuously. Meanwhile, to build up a clear picture of the relationship with company strategy, company culture and company organization is another major issue of this case study.
