A Study On A Business Model Of Developing Hi-Tech Industry In Haining By Venture Investment

The only way to quicken the development of Haining economy is to promote the development of hi-tech industry, to optimize the industrial structure and to enhance productive forces. It is commonly accepted that venture investment plays a significant role in promoting the development of hi-tech small and medium-sized enterprises and the gathering of newly developing industries. This paper gives a detailed analysis of the internal relations between the development of hi-tech industry and venture investment on the basis of establishing a mutual promoting business model, which not only meets the requirement of the operation of venture investment but also fits the development of hi-tech enterprises and industries in Haining. Through a comparison between business models of development of hi-tech industries supported by venture investment in the U.S.A and Taiwan district, a detailed plan is put forward in this paper on the business model, in which venture investment and the development of hi-tech enterprises are realized with the diversified investment from local government, stock-issuing enterprises and traditional mainstay industry. Consequently the problems existing in adjusting traditional industrial structure and promoting the steady development of hi-tech small and medium-sized enterprises are solved in theory so that a theoretical foundation is established on the operation of venture investment in practice.There is something unique to this paper. First, the internal relations between the development of hi-tech industry and venture investment is revealed by analyzing the technological characters of the former and the connotation and rules of the latter. Second, the significance of producing a new system is shown through the comparison of successful business models both at home and abroad, especially those in the U.S.A and in Taiwan district. Thirdly, with the analysis of the present situation of the development of hi-tech industries in Haining, through theoretical proof and the assessment of performance and the design of a practical plan, a venture investment model is put forward with diversified investment from local government, stock-issuing enterprises and traditional mainstay industries.
