Nowadays, we are living in the high-developing times of knowledge-based economy. The object of human resource management has already changed. It is more and more dealing with knowledge-worker, knowledge-based job, and knowledge-based job intercommunion etc. In new economy, the core of human resource management lies in knowledge-worker, creation of knowledge, and competition between corporations, plus its usage and multiplication, which all will rely on knowledge-worker finally. In order to manage the knowledge worker effectively, we should have a comprehensive comprehension on its characteristics. So firstly, this paper introduces the characteristics of knowledge-worker in new economy and its demand plus incentive model. At the same time, because numerous precedents on management of knowledge-worker which can be used for reference avalanche each country all over the world, especially USA, then this paper mainly compares and analyzes several successful foreign precedents on knowledge management in brief. What's more, with the global contemporary management theory becoming more mature and deeply, our country are also experiencing the conversion from close and extensive management manner of planned economy to open and intensive management manner of market economy. During the course of slipping the leash of traditional concept and alluring advanced management idea for reference, because of the action of inertial thinking and restriction of condition from many aspects, misconstrue will comes into being unavoidable. Many problems existing in traditional personnel management, characteristics and reasons of flow of knowledge worker in our country, together with its influence, which is the main concern of this paper. Finally, this paper treats of elicitation on knowledge worker management in our country engendered from successful foreign precedents.
