Shanghai is the biggest economic center in china, it has superior industrial conditions.As the front of reform and opening-up, and it has actively taken part in global economic collaboration. To construct the development zones has become an importent regional strategy for developing urban economy. At present, shanghai has approved 18 industrial development zones at the national and metroplitan levels.Surely, compared with advanced industrial development zones domestic and aboard, the industrial development zones is backward in the pattern of development, the selection of industrial and management level. Further more, shanghai is confronted with fervent competition in absorbing foreign investment, so shanghai must take appropriate measures to promote competition force and to establish advantage in competition. Therefore, from the angle of economic effect of development zones, shanghai should improve the level of industrial zone by absorbing foreign management experience. This thesis provides some suggestions and countermeasures in the development of industrial development in shanghai.The thesis includes 6 parts. In the part 1 and 2, the article throws light on concepts concerned at first, then analysis of process and features about industrial development zones in shanghai are mainly discribed in the part 3.As the focal point,the economic effect of development zones in shanghai is analyed in detail in part 4.First of all.the impact of development zones on regional an metropolitan economy is theoretically studied .Then.the thesis focus on the economic effect of development zones in shanghai by analying the land development ratio .investment strength .output effect per person and per Km2,and comprehensive economic effect with multi indicators.Part 5 studies the patter of management and absorbing foreign investment in industrial park. The last chapter expounds some problems existing in industrial park. Finally, the thesis provides suggestions for the construction and management of industrial park to promote its competition force.
