The management of compensation is an important problem in human resource management. The payment of compensation is a kind of information given by the administrators to tell the staff what action is important and will be encouraged. A strategic compensation system is directly concerned with the staff's initiative and the development of the enterprise, and related to whether the staffs effort can combined with the aim, idea (view) and culture. So, the design of compensation system is systematic project that is concerned with the development of the enterprise and the strategy of service organization, and it deserves our thorough investigation and discussion.The dissertation is composed of four parts. The first chapter starts with the concept of compensation, and then discusses the major forms of basic compensation system, looks back the development course of compensation management theory, elaborate the principles concerned, the basic procedure and modes and methods of designing the compensation system, and introduces some instruments most in use. The second chapter begins with the real situation of ZBBZ, and then states the thinking and concrete procedure by combining witii the theory of compensation design, and applying some means concerned. The third chapter states the implementation of the redesigned compensation system in succinct language. The fourth chapter is a comment and conclusion of the new compensation system, and at the same time some problems that should be paid attention to, as well as my own reflection on the problem have been put forward in this part.During the whole designing process, a lot of investigation and research work has been done, many first-hand materials have been collected into hands, so the article is agood combination of theory and reality under the guidance of the compensation design theories concerned, and it closely combines with the specific situation of reforms and structural reforms, as well as the production and management of ZBBZ. Particularly, there are some innovations in the application of some certain means, which makes it more operational in the course of designing the compensation and makes the compensation system more rational, for example, the innovations in Ihe wage rate transformation of post payment, the definite of the working grade and the unit price of the piece rate wage.
