With the development of information technology and knowledge-based economy, improving the level of management and expediting the step of innovation have become our common acquaintanceship. China is a developing country and is dotty than the developed country in technology, economy, culture and education. The industrial technology of China is very weak compared with developed country, including production organization. The optimization of production organization is a cross knowledge for the management science, an ology and an art. The optimization of production organization has been studied for more than half a century. Recently, this subject has aroused great interest to the researchers of both management science and operations research. After a brief and impressive survey on the development of production organization of location-allocation and facility layout, this paper makes a systemic study and finds some models to location-allocation and facility layout, including the innovation model, improving algorithms, numeric analysis and parameter analysis. This paper has studied the optimization of production organization and numerical value analysis. First, this paper sums up the description of the optimization of production organization, the thought of this paper, the study meaning and the future application vistas. Second, it analyzes the study background in this field in the world, theshortcomings, the actuality, and primary thoughts of finding new models. Third, it describes the basic concept, operation, and application of genetic algorithms, which is a base for the calculation of the following chapter. In addition, the paper improves the genetic algorithms-based approach on the model with Primary and Secondary Warehouses, including the change of customer demand, the choice of second warehouse arid the adjust policy of cost, compared with the enumeration method and the methods in literature, analyzing the parameter, giving a reference to setup range of parameter. Furthermore, it ameliorates the model and its genetic algorithms, doing the numerical analysis on the facility layout in optimization of production organization. The result dedicates that the algorithms of this paper is more predominant. The application to a real world problem and numerical analysis shows the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed method in dealing with such kind of problems, having some society and economic merit. Finally, the dissertation has a summarization to the work of this paper, analyzing the problems and shortcomings, giving a series of vistas to the future direction of research.
