Nowadays, the government is the forerunner in the Informatization Progress of National Economy and Social Development. In the face of challenge of joining WTO, the development of E-Govemment should be accelerated, the transformation of Government Function should be speed up , the level of Government Decision-making should be upgraded, the efficiency of Government Administration should be enhanced, the capability of Government Supervision and public Service should be strengthened and government visibility should be improved as soon as possible to implement the development strategy in which Informatization drives industrialization.Basing on the current position, the dissertation is written on the research on applying E-Government to Government Administration in China and the analysis of its strategies in order to explore the construction of E-Government with Chinese Features and the reformation and innovation of our government in New Economy Ages. At first, the theory and essentials of E-Government are summarized, and the' E-Government effects on transformation of Government Function, Work Organization, raising Efficiency, Scientific Decision-making, Public Service, improving Incorruptness, Reformation and Innovation of Government Administration are analyzed. Then, that how to push E-Government with Chinese Features construction is studied, and the E-Government architecture, building mode and application system structure are worked out. At the same time, some successful practical cases of E-Govemment in China are illustrated, and the application system of E-Govemment of Jiangsu Province from 2001 to 2005 is built up. Finally, some countermeasures concerning construction of E-Govemment and its applications are proposed.
