| The real estate brokerage in China has been developing rapidly in the past 20 years since acting upon China's open and reform policies, particularly in 1990's.Brokers play more and more important roles in real estate transactions. However there are many problems to be treated.Enumerating and comparing real estate brokerage home and abroad with abundant data and samples, this thesis studies the characteristics and the problems of current real estate brokerage system and points out the big gap between China and foreign countries. This section includes the law system, management system, market admittance, licenses management, firms and their employees, market operating, contract management and quality system etc. After that this thesis anatomizes the influence of the development and application of network technology which are not only promoting the development of conventional real estate brokerage but also have been challenging to the traditional profession. In the next section, this thesis analyzes some rules of WTO and Chinese government's commitments and predicts the great challenges and opportunities for the real estate brokerage in China. The last section puts forward some strategic issues about how to promote the real estate brokerage in China.
