Research On The Structure Adjustment Of Highway Freight Capacity In Hubei Provinces

Traffic capacity means traffic supply capacity, which includes traffic infrastructures and transportation equipments. These two parts consist the real supply. Traffic capacity works as the main carrier of traffic supply, which structure affects directly to supply, economy construct and social development targets. This thesis takes the narrow sense meaning of traffic capacity that is transportation equipment as the research object, mainly study the adjustment of highway capacity structure of Hubei province. Wish this research provide some guidance to Hubei.The research indicates: After several years' developments, Hubei has succeeded satisfying the social traffic needs of "just can go". From its change trends we can believe the structure of highway capacity is more and more reasonable. But there still exists big gap to satisfy the advanced and specialized needs. Comparing to developed districts, Hubei province lags behind. So adjusting the structure of traffic capacity is the needs of social development and it's the must way to realize the higher social targets.This thesis consisted 7 paragraphs. The 1st chapter introduced the backgrounds of structure adjustment in China and expounded the relevant theory of structureadjustment. The 2nd chapter explicated the position and meaning of highway-express to national development. Chapter 3 analyzed current conditions of Hubei province from quality, space layout, technique characters. And made a conclusion that the whole quality is oversupply, but specialized supply is shortage, layout is over concentrated and the technique is worse. Chapter 4 made a research of abroad development of highway capacity, which provides guidance to Chinese development. The 5th chapter made a forecast of coming 20 years social needs with scientific methods. On the basis of the above analysis, chapter 6 made a target scheme, which made a reference to Transport Bureau standards, the fifth plan of Hubei province and other advanced districts' development targets. The last chapter provided some advices to realize the developing targets. Such as strengthen market, transfer the technique into capacity and so on.This thesis has chiefly used the present situation analysis as the basis, theory as the guidance. The concrete analyzing process uses the vertical contrasts of time and horizontal comparison of region as the main technique method. The forecasting course has used mathematical approach to make science decisions such as correlation recurrence and exponential smoothing etc.
