As the denial and succession of capitalism, socialism should inherit the civilization fruits accumulated by capitalism in the proceeding of globalization, overcome the capitalist malpractices and replace capitalism finally, which set up a social system without exploitation and oppression and with freedom and equality of every one and make globalization reach a higher development level.The thesis consists of four parts.I . Globalization and socialist theory of Marx and Engels. In this part, it is proved that capitalist production resulted in the appearance of globalization, and that globalization induced that capitalist contradictions became acute in the world, which were the conditions that theory and practice of socialism generated and developed.II. Globalization and the foundation and development of socialism. It includes with the development of globalization, there were the political changes all over the world. On the one hand, capitalism transited from liberal capitalism to monopoly capitalism. On the other hand, in weak areas of capitalist rule, socialism transformed from theory to reality. During the period, socialist countries were growing up, which showed that socialism had powerful vitality. This was the successful period of the traditional socialism. At the same time, it had also paid out heavy prices, and included some factors that leaded to greatdifficulty and frustration of socialism later.III. Globalization and the plight and revival of socialism.It clarifies that when globalization swept through the world, the malpractices of the traditional socialism became increasingly exposed, and socialism was in a dilemma. With East European upheaval and Soviet disorganization, the world socialism failed in succession. To our joy, according to globalization, the Communist Party of China has integrated Marx's theory with practice of China and times character, initially solved the principal and elementary problem that what is socialism and how to construct socialism, and brought forward the scientific theory of constructing socialism with Chinese characteristics. Under the background of globalization, with the guidance of the scientific theory, China has entered globalization by reformation and innovation of socialist system. Therefore, the reform-and-open and modernization construction of China has had great achievements in the proceeding of globalization.IV. Logical revelation. It indicates that during the longer period the world socialism will be confronted with not only all kinds of difficulty and challenges but also opportunities. Facing up to the dilemma, either the whole socialist countries or the individual socialist country should constitute rationally development strategy, weigh advantages and disadvantages, enter globalization, and make socialism reach a new development stage.
