With the continual economic development, people's idea and concept has got great liberation. More and more people choose to take part-time job in order to meet their demand. Meanwhile, companies are employing lots of part-time employees, for the sake of improving utility and reducing cost, and what's more, network economy develops fast, which provides more convenience for the speedy development of part-time employees.The employee motivation always is a hot topic and focus management theories study, due to large-scale emergence of part-time employees, the part-time employee motivation is also the front subject. And if motivation theory is to become a more perfect management theory, we should not ignore the research on part-time employee motivation way, a gradually widespread employee's form.This text totally includes five parts. The first part is preface, in which firstly some basic concept i.e. motivation, demand, motive & behavior and motivation way is defined, then importance of motivation and significance of choosing subject are introduced, the last is the review on domestic and foreign relative document from the view of economics and management. The second part is the survey of part-time employee. According to employee's working time in organization, we can divide employee into full-time employee and part-time employee. With the continually economic development, part-time employee is more and more widespread. Therefore, in this part it defines the concept firstly, i.e. employee and part-time employee, analyzes the binding terms of emergence part-time employee and the possible trend of the development of part-time employee, then points out the utility of employing from the view of organization, and finally analyzes the difference of the full-time employee and the sole duty employee. However, it is hard to distinguish them in actual work, so the author in this text call all of them full-part employee instead of differentiating them and the author points out the main differences between the part-time employee and full-time employee.The third part of the thesis introduces theoretical basis of the structure of part-time employee motivation way. No matter from economic view or from management view there are many employee motivation theories, but whose research target is all the employees, the structure of part-time employee motivation way mustbase on these theories Because there are certain differences between the part-time employee and the full-part employee, the changes of employee pattern will lead to the revolution of theory of part-time employee motivation. According to the characterization of part-time employee, author maintains theoretical basis of the structure of part-time employee motivation way mainly as follows, humanity assumption theory, positive feedback theory, ability person assumption theory and principal-agent theory. Seeing that human natural characterization is the base of motivation, the author in this text holds that the part-time employee is also "economic man", who pursue utility maximization, the part-time employee has stronger senses of demand, the part-time employee human nature assumption bases on Y theory, the social attribute of part-time employee is more and more coordination with their personality. The traditional scale economy reduces cost by enlarging the scale of organization, which is supplier scale economy. Due to advanced communication technology and casting media, the performances of part-time employee are quickly known by others and the value is assessed accordingly, that is demand scale economy, namely or positive feedback theory. The part-time employee does not work in organization at ordinary times and does not meet their administrators; this is the essential difference between part-time employee and full-time employee, therefore, the administrator focus on their ability to fulfill the task instead of their working time.
