With the rapid development of market economic and the task of all-round construction for Xiao Kang society, ideological and political education faces many challenges. The problem of the value and evaluation of ideological and political education important parts of the new academic foundations. The research for ideological and political education is not enough to effect to reach the best expectation of education. In order to induce the general lawN essence-, structure and characters of evaluation process, we have to probe the process of ideological and political education at first. The article includes four parts.Part one differentiates the related concepts of ideological and political education evaluation, and states the characters and stages of the evaluation of ideological and political education. The article divides the evaluation process into three stages by the way of logic: preparation, implement and check, and analyses the relations of all the factors and stages, contents and laws. I discuss the process in the angle of combination of theory and practice, which could direct the practice and pat the academic research forward.Part two analyses the preparation activity of ideological and political education. I evaluate the education under the brood social settings, which would help to assess lawfully and correctly. Designing limits the ways of the evaluation, contracts the framework of educational activity, and directs the evaluation on the way to the anticipated goal. Evaluation will have its own standards for implementation if we set up the criterion of evaluation.Part three analyses the implementation of the valuation of ideological and political education. In this stages we obtain information, select information which isfit for ore aim, and get assessment by the way of deduce. Obtaining value judgement is a risky jump in the process, which would lead to success or failure of evaluation.Part four analyze the activity of check and promotion in the process of evaluation. The subject in evaluation would promote the validity and reliability by analyzing the influences caused by the main factors and finding existed faults in evaluation.
