The competitive environments such as economic globalization, technological advances and promotion of customer status etc, which contains lots of uncertain factors, bring forward new challenges to the enterprises, And how to response to those challenges is a problem that the researcher and practitioner are reflecting on together. Confronting with the new competitive environment, only by arming with advanced technique and knowledge, esp heterogeneous knowledge and monopolistic tech superiority which can create monopolization, can enterprise ensure maintenance and sustainable development. The carrier of knowledge and Sci-Tech-human resource, inevitably turns to be the key to the success of enterprise. If the enterprise can always attach importance to the construction of HRDM and its mechanism, arrange HR efficiently and develop HR potential through HR policies and concrete practices, it will surely succeed in the fierce competition. Thus HRM is an effective method to success, and it will play a more and more important role in the realization of the enterprise strategic aims. All the above requires the transfer from traditional Personnel Management to strategic HRM.For strategic HRM , HR staff are not only professionals of HR ,but also a strategic partner, a promoter of change and an , encourager of staff., which requires the HR staffs releasing from the executive and administrative work, and going in for strategic HRM. Therefore, how to improve HRM is a problem that the decision-maker and HRM department are concerning about..Taking this as the starting point, this thesis analyzes the application of Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) in enterprises, in order to facilitate a more comprehensive understanding of the enterprise, to promote striding development of HRM, to raise the efficiency of HRM, to improve the service and supply decision-support basing on information.'This thesis contains seven parts:Part one, Through the analysis of the challenges which the enterprise HUM are confronting with in 21 century, conclude that strategic HRM is inevitable tendency of HRM, and the combination of Management Information System (MIS) and HRM contributes a lot to the role transition of HRM staff.Part two. Through the analysis of HRMIS development, expound the HRMIS function in improving enterprise HRM efficiency, promoting the management and enhancing staff identify,: meanwhile, analyze the necessity of HRMIS for enterprise.Part three. According to the investigation made by Chinese HRM professionals on the application of HRMIS, sum up the features of application HRMIS in China, to further illustrate that the condition of HRMIS application in Chinese enterprises is not very good.Part four, discuss the systematical composition of HRMIS and the function that most software can realize, so as to make the elementary frame of HRMIS known of by people.Part five, discuss the general principles in choosing and employing HRMIS, and expand the strategies of HRMIS application and also analyze some misunderstandings in choosing and employing HRMIS, in order to make the enterprises know it fully and applies it successfully.Part six, Take the HRMIS successful application in Microsoft and Cisco for examples, to further illustrate the necessity to apply HRMIS in China.Part Seven, conclude the whole thesis, and points out that HRMIS is adequate safeguard to facilitate HRM department and managers to realize the strategic aims of HRM, however, As an auxiliary means, HRMIS cann't substitude for the work of HRM staff. Meanwhile , enterprises should choose proper HRMIS according to its own matter of facts.
