| As an ever-lasting topic of Economics, economic growth is paid great attention by the world. It's not only the process for quantitative growth but also the process for quality improvement. The two are closely connected and differ from each other in the course of economic growth.For a long time, economic growth rate is the main aim sought for by all countries. Though having made considerable progress in the 1960s, our world faces up with many serious problems since the 1970s such as the worsening of incoming allocation, poverty, unemployment and pollution, etc, so the theory and policy for quantitative economic growth is gradually doubted and blamed. The change of economic growth mode and the improvement of economic growth quality become strategic key problems.Industrial economic growth quality is the inner feature of industrial economic growth, and reflects its essence. In the industrial development, it's of great significance for national and regional industrial sustainable development and social and economic overall development to transfer the economic growth mode and improve the economic growth quality.Adopting ways of theoretic and positive study, qualitative and quantitative analysis, this paper does positive research on Lanzhou industrial economic growth quality using portrait historic analysis and landscape orientation comparative analysis.This paper's thinking is the following: first, historic origin and background of economic growth quality theory is studied, based on related economic development and growth theory esp. the sustainable development theory; then, set up some index system for evaluating industrial economic growth quality by index-designing principles; thirdly, do positive study on Lanzhou industrial economic growth from the 4 aspects of economic structure, economic effect, economic fluctuation and economic progress degree of Lanzhou industry, and do overall evaluation. Lastly, this paper puts forwards to some thinking and countermeasures for improvement.
