| Knowledge management represents a completely new managerial idea and means which is greatly impacting on the traditional managerial theories and approaches. Moreover, it has brought about many opportunities for the development of new managerial technology.This paper mainly discusses the theory and practice of KM under the background of informatization. It consists of five chapters. The first chapter analyzes the appearing and the concept of KM, the relationship between KM and informatization, and the meaning of the research. The second chapter elaborates the character of KM based on informatization. The third chapter discusses the main content of enterprise KM. According to the difference of KM's object, the content of KM consists of enterprise inner KM, enterprise external KM and the management of intellective worker or consists of the management of knowledge innovation, the management of knowledge sharing and the management of knowledge applying according to the difference of purpose .The fourth chapter probes into the implementing mode of KM to two kinds of typical manufacture enterprise, and brings forward corresponding framework. The last chapter puts forward several implemental strategies of KM based on informatization, which need foster apt culture in order to carry on KM , adjust the organization structure , carry on KM in customer relationship , strengthen the management to the risks of knowledge , build the knowledge map and construct the repository, construct a evaluating system on enterprise's knowledge capital.
