Study On The Development Of Science & Technology Intermediary In Hunan Province

A comprehensive and extensive regional distributingsystem of science and technology intermediary has been formedin Hunan province since 1985. In the science and technologyintermediary service system the techno-manage andtechno-intermediary have grown into the principal part.Nowadays, the high-tech incubator, the techno-consultationintermediary and the employer' s organization are making ahealthy and speedy development. But with some objective andsubjective reasons, such as the shortage of capital, the lowlevel of social market economy and the deficiency of governmentreformation, the service system of science and technologyintermediary in Hunan province is still imperfect and lagsbehind the demand of the technological innovation.In west the system of science and technology intermediary have developed since 18th century, in our country, however, it began until reforming and opening carried out. So in view of the current progress of the market economy it is imminent to increase the research of the institution and standardize it. On the basis of theory about division of labor, this paper studies the origin of intermediary and the motive power mechanism of science and technology intermediary. According to the actualities of the science and technology intermediary in Hunan province, this paper analyses the internal and external environmental reasons of science and technology intermediary to find out why the Hunan province' s science and technology intermediary is so inefficient. We first select five aspects as departure points of my study, such as the demands of regional innovation, industrialization,agricultural-industrialization, urbanization and government reformation to the science and technology intermediary. And then we discuss the establishment on the institutional environment of science and technology intermediary in Hunan province. At last, we establish a development model on science and technology intermediary in Hunan province.
