A Study Of Informatization Driving Industrialization

Informatization and globalization are tendencies of the world today. Developed countries have got into phase of informatization, some have even entered information society. However, china is still in med-term of industrialization and meeting challenges of informatization and industrialization. The CPC put forward informatization driving industrialization in 2001 and New-type Industrialization Path in 2002, the core of which is to combine industrialization with informatization. The thesis, firstly, presents the concepts of informatization, industrialization and New-type Industrialization Path. Secondly, analysis why to drive industrialization by informatization. Thirdly, establish a mechanism model to prove that informatization can drive industrialization and present positive factors and barriers as well. Lastly, put forward how to realize informatization driving industri -alization in aspects of guiding principles, key strategies, main tasks and action frameworks. The thesis concludes that it is necessary and feasible of china to put the strategy of informatization driving industrialization into effect, and there are some positive factors and basic barriers as well. Enterprises should play main role in informatization driving industrialization, and governments should service enterprises by developing infrastructures and social systems. Transformed into market-based roles with independent interests through system innovation, enterprises would adopt information technology on their own initiative. Enterprise informatization is not only to adopt information technology and equipments, but to innovate in organization and management. The innovations of this thesis are exploiting a mechanism model of informatization driving industrialization, which is the basis of the strategy, and presenting practicable measures to put the strategy into effect.
