Guilin has a wonderful resource foundation to develop the folklore culture tourism, the thesis summarizes the folklore resources in Guilin, such as nationalities festivals, religious culture, folk arts, cooking culture and housing culture, etc. On the basis of looking back from history of the development of folklore culture tourism in Guilin, the thesis analyses the problems in the development, reconsider the culture tourism exploiting theory andprinciples from the sustainable development angle, suggests further developments in folklore culture tourism in Guilin.The main achievement of the thesis is to study the tourism development in Guilin from the folklore culture angle, to study the folklore culture development from demand and supply angles.
