With the development of world economy and modern science and technology, logistics has been in the ascendant in the global area as a new service industry. The booming electronic commerce also supplies logistics with more internal power and better external environment. The research on logistics has become fashionable. At the same time, there are many risks during the logistics operating and logistics insurance is the key to deal with the difficulties. Under this circumstance, this thesis is to be on some problems of logistics insurance.The first chapter introduces the origin of logistics, the concept of logistics and generalizes the basic meaning of logistics in China.The second chapter analyses the risks during the logistics operating, the concept of logistics insurance, the necessity of logistics insurance, the status quo and problems in logistics insurance, the insurance clauses, the interrelated laws, the parties of the logistics insurance contracts, the status and standard and the relations between all the parties of logistics insurance contracts, which lay the foundation for the next study.The third chapter concerns a special logistics operator桸VOCC (non-vessel operating common carrier) .This part analyses NVOCCs' liability limitation and puts forward an idea that using liability insurance replaces the deposit system.The fourth chapter gives a brief introduction to a kind of similar logistics insurance abroad桾hrough Carriage Protect and Indemnity Insurance. The author hopes we can learn something from it.The fifth chapter discusses the liability period, liability content, the burden of proof, liability mode of logistics liability insurance. The author comes up with uniform liability system, the direct pour of the third party to the underwriter and the underwriters' defense.The sixth chapter sums up the whole article and makes a few suggestions, such as establishing and corresponding interrelated codes and rules, setting down standard logistics insurance clauses etc. Finally, the author conceives an integrated logistics insurance system.
