Managers have unique station in enterprise and play a decisive role. Frequently, they are important factors to effect enterprise's success or failure. Quality of managers is one of the important bases of raising the managerial levels and of improving enterprise's competition capability.This thesis takes travel agency's managers as objects. In order to provide basis for selecting and training travel agency's managers and for managers' development on occupation, it studies quality structure of managers in travel agency to be competent for position acquirement which starts with the specialty of tourism by using theory of management psychology, knowledge of leadership and means of statistical analysis.The study is composed of three steps. The fist step is compiling questionnaire. By studying reference information and inquiring personnel concern, the; author gathers essential factors related to manager performance of quality and works out quality testing tool. The second step is questionnaire investigation, which is carried through quality test on managers of travel agency. The third step is analyzing data, using statistical software to analyze the result of investigation.Researching result: 1.These data, such as capability of collecting information, consciousness of customer service, sense of responsibility, trustworthiness, initiative, self-confidence, communicating capability, capability of distinguishing and using persons, appetency and team membership, have high significance toward acquiring good performance. 2. The quality elements system of managers to be competent for position in travel agency can be divided into three dimensionalities, which are interpersonal quality, managerial quality and individual trait, and include eight factors which are customer concern, team membership, capability of guidance, self-management and managing others, innovation, communication, collecting information, moral character and behavior motivation, learning capability. 3. Some controlled variables, such as age, years of management, specialty, educational level, number of underlings and enterprise property, have influence on factors approved.
