A Comparison Between Mao Zedong's And Deng Xiaoping's Ideology Of Legal System

Mao Zedong's and Deng Xiaoping's ideology of legal system are the combinations of the universal principles of Marxism and the actual situation of China. They are precious theatrical wealth of the first and second leadership cores of the Chinese Communist Party in the process of constructing a socialist country ruled by law. There are lots of consistency and discrepancy in the two ideology of legal system. To enhance comparative study between them, not only benefit to further research Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, but also benefit to insist on and develop Mao Zedong's and Deng Xiaoping's ideology of legal system, in the meantime, it has important guiding significance in administering country according to law, constructing a socialist country ruled by law.This thesis is divided into three parts:Part 1. Firstly, I probed into the consistency and discrepancy of Mao Zedong's and Deng Xiaoping's ideology of legal system by horizontal comparison. Secondly, I discussed the inheritance and development of the two ideologies by vertical comparison. Since democracy and legal system are complement each other and are inseparable, the democratic thoughts of them are also been taken into consideration.Part 2. Adhering to the principle of seeking truth from facts, from the individual angle, more important from the historical condition angle, I analyzed deeply the reasons of the consistency and discrepancy in the two ideology of legal system, meanwhile, the reason why Deng Xiaoping'sideology of democracy and legal system is the inheritance and development of Mao Zedong's are approached.Part 3. Based on the former analysis and comparative study, I derived some enlightenments for constructing a socialist country ruled by law from the comparative study of Mao Zedong's and Deng Xiaoping's ideology of legal system. I stated these enlightenments from four aspects, which are strengthening legislation, choice of roads towards rule of law, being in power according to law and constructing socialist political civilization.
