A Study On The Development Of Economic And Technical Cooperation In APEC

Both Economic and Technical Cooperation and Trade and Investment Liberalization and Facilitation are the important pillars of APEC. Although ECOTECH has nominally equal position to TILF in APEC, it is an absolute fact that the development of ECOTECH is much slower than that of TILF. In order to promote the development of ECOTECH, minimize the developing gap between ECOTECH and TILF and maintain the stability of the overall development of APEC, this article named "A study on the development of Economic and Technical Cooperation in APEC" analyzes the development base, history, actuality and tendency of ECOTECH detailedly.The article is composed of four chapters:The first chapter introduces the basic frame of ECOTECH including its definition, contents, character and theoretical and practical basement, etc.The second chapter analyzes the developing history of ECOTECH.ECOTECH has experienced three developing periods. Obviously, ECOTECH in different period faced different environment and achieved different successes.The third chapter summarizes and evaluates the participating level of APEC developing and developed members. From the viewpoint of APEC members taking part in ECOTECH, this chapter analyzes and evaluates the developing statues quo of the ECOTECH.The fourth chapter predicts the further development of ECOTECH.
