After our country's reform and open policy, 50% to 70% of the gap between the east and the west of our country was due to the difference of industry development. But during this time, the extent of Shann'xi industrialization decreased relatively. Now, Shann'xi has entered the middle stage of industrialization and the industry structure can't adapt the increasing opening competition circumstances, so it is important to study the industry structure of shann'xi. This paper discussed two basic theories. One is the relationship between the structure and the gross, different gross corresponds different structure, that is to say, there must be different economic structure in different economic period. The other is the theory of industrial structure. In fact, the evolvement of industrial structure is a process of growing, maturation and decay of comparative industries under the opening circumstance. In spatial dimension the industrial structure of the world, China and Shaan'xi have been analyzed. Industrial structure in Shaan'xi has been compared with that of east and central region when to analyze. Structure of ownership, trade, products, enterprise organization, technical and region has been analyzed inside the industrial structure. Evolvement history, present and future of industrial structure have been analyzed in temporal dimension. Industrialization degree, problem of industrial structure and predominance trade in shaan'xi also have been analyzed when to study present situation of industrial structure in shaan'xi. At the same time the impact of environment home and abroad on industrial structure in shaan'xi have been analyzed.
