In the course of the transitional period in our society, the prevailing corruption, which is called "political cancer", is more and more serious. It imperils the development of the economy, politics and even culture of our country. With the vision of economy, this article gives analysis on corruption from two aspects of individuality and collectivity.Firstly, with the view of economic reason, this article analyzes the utility of defalcation corrupt behavior and equilibrium of rent-seeking corrupt behavior when depending on the "principal-agent". Several major factors which influence the corruption are unveiled as: the toughness of punishment on the people who are involved in corruption, salary of the public servants and their reactions of risk, the equilibrium of the rent market and so on.Secondly, with the collectivity and the institutional economy theory, this article goes deeply in the institutional analysis. In the great transitional period of our society, politics, economy, and the way of thinking are all challenged in much degree. In one aspect, a lot of public power is being given to the market to go with the course of market economy, but in the other aspect, with the heading of market economy, more and more institutional blankness and lack appear in the public power. There are no enough institutions are given in the power system. It is said as the main reason of corruption in the aspect of institution.Last, this article proposes the model of anti-corruption from three aspects of institution and morality, civil society and international cooperation.
