Study On The Structure And The Strategy Of Industrial Restructure Of Arid Area-Take Urumqi As An Example

The industrial structure adjustment and optimization is the eternal theme in the research on modern social economy development, and the objective demand of the economy development, which is of great realistic and profound historic significance. With the development of economy, it is more and more important that the structure of industry affects the development of economy deeply.As the representative city of western arid areas, Urumqi plays a very important role in the western development. The fragility of ecosystem in Urumqi makes its industrial development different with other cities. So how to progress in harmony with resource and environment for Urumqi economy is the main topic of the thesis.After the constructing of the eighth, ninth and tenth "five-year plan", the industrial of Urumqi has been improved, that is, three industries get much progress with different extents. But with long history reasons, the industrial structure of Urumqi still puts after the economic development It focus on such points: Firstly, the process of the industrial restructure technological industrialization of agriculture are slow, the specialization of the agriculture products is low and so little science and technology are used in production. Secondly, little headway has been made in industry. The dominant industry, enterprises and productions haven't been established. Thirdly, the quality and level of the third industry are still low. The opening of industry is relatively low and the trade is still too small. On the basis of abundant statistic data, the thesis takes a further analysis on the three industries. According to a recursive model of industrial structure mentioned in the thesis, the output of different industries can be predicted. In this way, we draw conclusions that we should restructure and up-date the industrial structure to keep the developing speed. All in all, we should accelerate industry restructure to make the proportion in reason in one side. In the other, the related policy needs to be set up and implemented to push the high technological industry and up-date the industrial structure of Urumqi.
