Urban land is one of the largest assets of city. It is become a vital problem for Urban Land Structure(ULS) linked with the trends,direction and scale of urban development, to be optimized during urbanization process. The evolvement of ULS is determined by many exterior systems, such as nature, culture, society, economy, geography, environment,etc. For ULS, its evolvement keeps its optimization company. However,the latter turns out to be more complicated over its outcome and process. The complicated outcome of optimization is that optimization embodies several sub-structures,several time-dimensions,several function processes,while the complicated outcome of optimization is mentioned as various intricate self-organization phenomena determined by non-linear dynamics mechanism when ULS is far away from equilibrium state.Presently,some traditional theories including Urban Geography,Central Place Theory,Urban Society Science,cannot give a substantial answer to the optimization problems of urban land multiple-structure. The cause is that optimizing the structure has some characters of un-order,diversification,differentiation,random, un-organization and artificial factors. Distinguished from Urban Economics,Fractal Theory, Urban Geography,Central Place Theory,this dissertation is to study the model for optimizing multiple-structure of urban land on the basis of phenomena analysis,hypothesis, peculiarity study, relation study, classical model summarization, function modification and applying non-linear science theory. Thus, the following achievements can be found: (a) Discussing the non-even use model of urban land to completely reflect the practice, and make the built model of urban land multiple-structures obey natural and economical rules. (b) Studying the relation between urban activities and urban land,thus, to probe for the optimization value of urban land. (c) Discussing and modifying simple Bid-rent Function by using Dissipativity Structure Theory,to optimize the urban land structure, and make model have a stronger direction to practice. (d) Putting forwards some management measures for government when decision-making on urban land optimization is in need.Cross-disciplines are used in this dissertation,and Bid-rent Function is extended from planar to three-dimensional,from slippery to up-down. In fact,the curve of Bid-rent Function built by this dissertation is not a simple line but an irregular set of line. Non-linear Science is applied when discussing Dissipativity Structure of urban land optimization. Therefore, this dissertation is filled with innovation to some extent.
