The construction and development of the small town are important content of modernization in China and they are also the important strength to promote the urbanization process with Chinese characteristics. So, developing the small town in a more cost-effective manner and seeking the urban development model which is suitable to our national conditions have important meaning for bringing about an advance in rural economy, rational people transformation in the countryside , increase peasant income and raise urbanization level of our country. This dissertation regards regional economic theory as guidelines, in terms of resource distribution , probe into the choice and urbanization and resource distribution way of the Three Gorges reservoir area urbanization road of Chongqing, and put forward the suggestion of urban development of reservoir area of Three Gorges.This dissertation is divided into six chapters, the main content of every chapter is as follows:Chapter one is the introduction, expounding the research background, research purpose and significant, research thought and content, research approach of this dissertation, Thus offering a guide for the research.Chapter two point out the necessity of the research on resource distribution in the construction of small town. On the basis of consulting a large amount of documents, probe into the intension, characteristic of the urbanization and form mechanism and main development model, Summarize the advanced experience of domestic and international urban and question existing. And point out the necessity of the research.Chapter three is the feasibility analysis of urbanization construction and regional resource distribution mainly. It is analysed the relationship between the construction of samll town and resource distribution. And evaluate the success and failure during the process of urbanization in Lijing of Yunnan, Zhangjiajie in Hunan etc.Chapter four analyzes the key elements of resource agglomeratio in the process of urbanization of Three Gorges reservoir area and gets a character of the inequality distribution of Resources of reservoir area and analyses in depth the current situation, the advantage and restriction factor of urban development of reservoir area of Three Gorges of Chong Qing. The dissertation suppose that the development of small town in reservoir area of Three Gorges should developed local advantages resource - touristresources, And regard this as the opportunity , drive the development of the tertiary industry of reservoir area, advance the urbanization process .Chapter five propose the research direction that the inequality resources distribution in the construction of urbanization of Three Gorges reservoir area on the basis of analysing in the first two chapters, Have put forward the measure and urbanization mode of developping of travel resource distribution of reservoir area, on the basis of making a concrete analysis of the current situation of the tourist resources of reservoir area of Three Gorges of Chong Qing and condition foundation.Chapter six is the conclusion and a successor of research work. How to accelerate the urbanization process? This is a question that different people have different views. According to the demonstrational analysis of status quo of Reservoir Area of Three Gorges of Chong Qing, this dissertation bring forward a development approach of urbanization during the explore of construction procession of small town through inequality to equlity, which should be based on the regional resource, take the advantagous resources as guide and promote the sustainable development of small town construction through optimizing the regional resources.
