Changes of population distribution reflects the change of interior domains spatial structure, effects the of structure and distribution of Economy,Society,Industry and so on. So, population redistribution is an important aspect on interior domains spatial structure studying. As The Three Gorges Reservoir is an important and special area, studying on its population spatial differentiation from space-time view and revealing the factors and the mode of action, could provide scientific basis for guiding population reasonable distribution and flow, and coordinate relationship between area population and the regional economy,resource and environmental.Yangtze River coastal and tributary area of The Three Gorges Reservoir, is one of the main origin of Chinese nation ancient culture. From stone age, this area has had human cultural activities. Several large-scale Immigrations effect the regional economy,resource and environmental of The Three Gorges Reservoir in history. Ever since The Three Gorges Project construction, Immigration problem has significantly achievement. With the developing of economy, the interurban population distribution occured obviously changes, urban population growed quidkly, resource and environmental pressure increased evidently. Population flow and migration are changing the spatial distribution pattern of population, and becoming the central contradiction for the interurban population development.In this paper, use the theory of regional PRED system (harmonious development as theoretical support), quantitative analysis of Three Gorges Reservoir element has been made that it's still in low level running state. Based on correlation analysis between population distribution and resource and environment, and regional economic development, the main factors had been established, and then, rationality evaluation about the population distribution situation is put forward.
