The Comparative Analysis Of Competitiveness Of The Manufacturing Industry In Jiangsu, Zhejiang, And Shanghai

Manufacturing industry is an important symbol that is used to measure the economic strength and modernization level of a certain region. Strong manufacturing industry is an assurance of realizing industry's modernization .Changjiang Delta Region where Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai(JZH) are located is the biggest bases of manufacturing industry in our country. It does matter much whether the manufacturing industry of this region can remain strong competitiveness and keep sustainable development or not because it not only is related to the economic growth, but also affects the process of the realization of the industry's modernization of our whole country.This article adopts factor analysis statistical method. Here we build complex valuing model of the manufacturing industries' competitiveness of JZH. Based on the indicator system chosen and the relevant accessible data, we can obtain the score which assesses the competitiveness of the manufacturing industries in JZH by the SPSS software. Furthermore, in order to find the advantaged and disadvantaged industries, we focus our attention on the comparative analysis of the 28 industries in the respective province or municipality. Besides, we compare the manufacturing industries' competitiveness with the other regions of our country so as to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of JZH .Finally, according to the existing problems, a feasible solution is given by us to increase the manufacturing industries' competitiveness of JZH.
