Research Of Competitiveness Of Industries Of Manufacturing Industry Of Shandong Province

The manufacturing industry of Shandong has gained great progress during the morethan twenty years of development since the implimentation of reform and opening to theoutside world policy. But there are still a lot of problems during the development. Now ithappens to us the adjustment of international industrial structure and the national transitionof ecnomic structure. Under this circumstance, it is the key for Shandong to achieve rapidand steady development in the new century to take advantage of vested comparativepreponderance to promote the competitiveness of manufacturing industry.This thesis regards Shandong Province as the study region and the twenty–eightindustries of manufacturing industry as research object. In this paper I have done researchon the competitiveness of manufacturing industry in Shandong on the basis of study on theindustrial competitiveness of overseas and domestic experts and the current developmentof manufacturing industry of Shandong province by using the muti-statistics analyzingmethod—Factor Analysis. And put forward the measures and countermeasures of how tostep up the industries competitiveness of manufacturing industry of Shandong province.The thesis is divided into six parts. Its structure and main content are summarized asfollowings:The first part is the summarization of the competitiveness of industry. It introduces theconnotation, the theoretic basis, including the Theory of Comparative Advantage, theThoery of Convergency Advantage, and the thoery of modern competitiveadvantage.Analyzing the factors that influence the industry competitiveness and the statusof manufacturing in industry.The second part sets up an index system and an evaluation model of manufacturingindustries competitiveness of Shandong province. Firstly put forward the principle of theevaluation of regional industry competitiveness. Then on this basis, put up 15 indexes ofthe manufacturing competitiveness by analyzing industry investment, industry output, theefficient level and the sustainable development of industry, and set up the evaluation indexsystem. This dissertation evaluates the competitiveness of the 28 industries ofmanufacturing of Shandong province by adopting the muti-statistics analyzing method—Factor Analysis. Finally decides the evaluation model of the competitiveness of industrialmanufacturing of Shandong.
