Study Of The Growth Of Small And Medium-Sized Enterprises Of Science And Technology Type

Small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology type are the knowledge-concentrating enterprises, concentrating on the innovation, performing mainly realizing the commercialization of the scientific and technological achievements, market-oriented, raising funds independently, self-traded, responsible for its gains and losses, self-developing and self-discipline. In comparison with the conventional enterprises, the small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology type are special in following aspects: concentrated knowledge, technology and high-quality personnel; be of innovation; highly investing; high risks and rewards; developing rapidly; superior mechanism. The small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology type are favorable for inducing competition, utilizing the resources effectively, better operating of market economy, improving science and technology, enhancing employment and absorbing the possible impact of economy. The small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology type will be a new breakthrough of sustainable, rapid, and healthy development of economy. Since the reform and opening-up in China, small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology type have been come into being group by group. However, many of them such as AiDuo, JuRen, FeiLong, SanZhu and QinChi have been in trouble, even no longer in existence, mainly showing shortage of capital, lacking of high-quality personnel, lacking of market demand, fiery competition in disorder, low level management inside the businesses and lacking of suitable services from governments and society.In this paper, based on the research and survey, the author builds up the indicator system to evaluate the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology type, determines the weight value of the indicators by applying AHP, the Analytical Hierarchy Process and fuzzy method, and makes the indicators quantitative by scoring methods. In chapter 1, the subject matter, the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology type are presented, followed by the main content, research structure and research methods. In chapter 2, the research situations connected with the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology inside and outside of China are discussed. In chapter 3 and chapter 4, the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology type is evaluated from the view of external environment and internal factors respectively. Then in chapter 5, synthetic model of evaluating the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology type is presented and the explanations about it is given. Lastly, in chapter 6, the final conclusions are made and some suggestions are proposed as follow:Firstly, the important role of personnel in businesses are supposed to be emphasized in the course of the growth of the small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology, absorb high-quality personnel and respect them.Secondly, the technology innovation should be emphasized, striving to improve the capacity of technology innovation.Thirdly, the governance structure and mechanism of the businesses are supposed to be established and improved.Fourthly, the different level strategic management should be concerned to improve the operating flexibility, to decrease the operating risks.Fifthly, the role of macro-control of the government needs to be played as well as possible.
